Who Do You Think You Are?

Some say love makes the world go 'round, others claim it's money, but in the end, it all boils down to delusions of grandeur. Really. Most of the money and the love issues have to do with delusions of grandeur. War? Delusions of grandeur (that there's the right, reason or need). Murder? Delusions of grandeur (that it's justified or called for). Hate? Delusions of grandeur (that the other person gives a shit and that it's worth your energy). Which brings me back to my constant argument and the platform I will run on if I ever get involved in politics. REALITY. If everyone would just face reality and regard it as such, the world would be a much better place.

Quote of the day:

"I still say that Luther is a succubus... all I'm saying is Barry died and Luther suddenly woke up and started getting better... succubus"

Requiem Barry White

Requiem Barry White. It was mad wicked weird that he died the day before our already planned "get well" tribute :(. When the show was announced, Luther was all over the news, and everyone was like "Barry White is sick? What?" Clearly, now a different story. It was a great crowd, I was more than marginally pleased with my performance and overall, it was all good.

Mars/Venus Indeed

Did I already write about boys and girls being completely and totally 100% different? Like fundamentally? And that everything in our society is so based on them getting along in perfect harmony? And that the sooner we realize that this is all a myth, we can dispense of the opposite being a tragedy, and suddenly we'll all find it perfectly healthy, acceptable, normal and natural to communicate regularly, be honest, and not have to have things be perceivedly (<--so not a word) 100% perfect at all times in order to be an acceptable existance?

Life is hard. Get used to it. But I mean that in a good way.
