Spiderman 2

After a week and a half of sticking to our promise to see it together, Pia and I (and Callista) went to see Spiderman 2. I loved it. I find it odd that while I dislike comic books, the fact that the movie is so true to the comic book genre is my favorite thing about it. The lighting, the cinematography, the attention to detail - there were so many scenes where if it had just been a movie there would have probably been much less detail, but b/c it was based on what would be a drawing, it was laden with detail. If that makes sense. There was indeed a lot of "teary eye" acting, but I could totally see the comic book frame with the close up of the eye and in it a single blue tinted tear. Love it!

Stop reading now if you haven't seen it.

Asian woman + violin + Spiderman theme = hilarious.
