Buckets-o-Fun

Last night, my group @ work introduced me to the magic of buckets - buckets of BEER. More specifically, buckets of BUD. Now, I am sure there are places in NYC with buckets of beer, but I am also sure that these places are soluting the midwest in their inclusion of this delicacy.

I give it the thumbs up. Especially the tossing it back in upside down part. That is cool.

Back in October 1996, at Tom's in the CWE (the first night I met Gabe's future husband Matt), we were ordering buckets of beer like mad because the waitress told us: "Buy five, and the sixth bucket is free." We wanted that sixth bucket, damnit. We wanted it real bad. When we got the check? No free 6th bucket. Mutha hump? Well, apparently she was saying a bucket includes six beers, of which only five are paid for. The special was included in every last bucket. Overindulging and overspending for naught!
