Apple + Showtime = "eh"
Apple is partnering with Showtime for a subscription incentive, which makes me go - "eh." It was Showtime's idea, which isn't suprising, but HBO is such a better fit for Apple. I'm a little personally taken aback.

I've been talking about this a lot with one of my co-workers lately. They're going to go for movies next. Basically they're gonna try to lock this whole home-media-internet-audio-video thing down. I'm predicting that Apple is really about to flex it's media-muscle. It'd also be a good way to wedge the sale of their core product into the mix as well. They just might be able to pull it off.
