ER Season Finale
I feel as though I'm making some dirty confession about myself be merely typing that subject line. Yes, I am one of the few still watching and still caring about ER. HOWEVER (if there's anyone out there who also watches to agree or disagree), the finale was strangely reminiscent of the Carton/Lucy season finale of what - 3, 4 years ago? What gives?

The Carter/Lucy episode was in the year 2000, but I think it was February sweeps, not a finale. I remember this only because it was like the last episode I ever watched. Not because it wasn't KICK-ASS, and I still love the Lo-Fidelity AllStars song from that climactic scene, but because I'd already stopped watching and returned to the well just to see the "everyone will be talking about it" episode.
Anyway ... wha' happened on this year's finale? Not that I know any of the characters anymore. Please tell me Shane West died.
And C. and I are both hella bummed about the Conviction cancellation. BOOO.
