Tony Running Commentary
Brodway has become a star whore.
Glen Close looks GREAT, Patti looks crazy as ever.
Was there ever a time when Broadway had its own stars? Or has it always been this way?
These graphics are kinf ok, but also kind of intrusive. Ok. Really intrusive.
Anna Paquin looks like she's terrified. Or bored. Bored as hell.
The Liberty Mutual "pay it forward" commercial should be a PSA. A good one. It's a really good message, but having it wrap up as an insurance commercial really kinda makes me go "ew."
Wait - wait! Mary Poppins is going into the New Am? What does this mean for Lion King?? A phone call later, Randy informs me that it's moving to the Minskoff.
The Drowsy Chaperon looks cute. And came off well on TV. Or maybe that's just because I haven't seen it?
Way to play it off the bad eyesight, Dreamy Paul Rudd.
I still hate Paul Schaffer.
I'm predicting that the Drowsy Chaperone is going to whoop up on the Color Purple.
Is Jersey Boys basically Movin' Out on steriods?
Tom Skerrit, what?
AAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!! Molly Ringwald. HEEEEEEEELLPPPPP!!!! And why would they put her up there with Jamie-Lynn? Though she's strangley appropriate to introduce this mess of a thing called the Wedding Singer.
Poor Phylicia. Patricia Neal (go Cats!) done messed up her name.
Leslie Uggams indeed.
YAY LA CHANZE!!!
