Pull 'em up
Much along the same lines as the now infamous 106 & Park rap cartoon video (see below*), I often think as I drive down Kingshighway from 70 in the morning that I want a T-shirt that says: Pull up your F-ing PANTS.
That is all.
* profanity. A lot of it

At first this was amusing, then at the end I thought it went overboard (i.e. needed to wash when- if we're dealing in generalizations- many Blacks historically would be overly concerned with hygiene to counter negative assumptions). And then I was reading my local paper, and here's the thing. NOBODY is reading nowadays. That's what was bothering me about the video, it generalizes that all Black folks need to get with it. Some do, of course, but so do we as a country. We need to read more and rely on soundbites less.
