My sissy just ran a MARATHON (26 miles, mind you) in Rome to raise money for the American Diabetes Association. She's a rock star.

This is scaring me. A

This is scaring me. A lot.

Speaking of fear, I saw Bringing Down the House tonight which I was really looking forward to using one of my $5 passes for but in the end was rather disappointed in. (<--- what a great A+ college graduate sentence). It was cute I guess, and Queen Latifah was beautiful and pretty good, but overall it was sort of wrong. It left a little bit of a not so fresh feeling. Usually when people are completely and totally evil and racist in a movie like that, they get their comuppance and everone leaves feeling there was a lesson learned. But that didn't really happen. Some of the wrongness crossed the line a little bit, and it never seemed to balance out/be made "ok." Which would be fine if this were American History X or something, but clearly. I dunno.
