Um, not only am I

Um, not only am I blogging from my brand new ibook, I am blogging FROM MY LIVING ROOM. I have entered the world of wireless and I WILL NEVER GO BACK. I don't know what I will do tomorrow @ my desk when I have to STAY THERE. Just the mere SIGHT of the cords and cables is going to choke me.

This is bliss.

I have to say that the mac store in Soho nearly killed me this morning. When I got there, there was a line. Not to mind that I was in the line, yes, but it amused me greatly nonetheless. While online, a black guy introduced himself to the other black guy in the line (how I was spared I will not contemplate, yet remain thankful for) in that way of only brothers have of introducing themselves to other brothers. He said he was glad to see a nice black man like him as a fellow mac user (??) and started asking him about his model and OS (Killing me. This was KILLING ME on so many levels). He then steered into a hard core sell, trying to get this guy to join his software sharing club.

_______________________________ (<-- my heart rate.)

I had to wait an hour while they configured my new baby, and the people watching... oh, the people wathing. I saw three people wearing the same orange courderoys. All men.

Long live mac.

I maintain that Rich Girls

I maintain that Rich Girls is one of the most brilliant half hours on television. Some of my favorite moments from last night's episode:

- Tommy Hilfiger brings in Jamie and Ally to give their opinion on his new Jr's line - in front of all the people who designed it. Jamie and Ally hate it, and the staffers are obviously LIVID, but can say nothing.

- At a dinner in the Hamptons, they discuss the fact that some people just buy clothes to cover their private parts. Jamie: "Like, people in the midwest don't buy cargo pants to wear with stilletos and a cute top like I was going to tonight, they buy them b/c they have lots of pockets and they need lots of pockets b/c they are working in the fields."

No words.

Has anyone seen MTV's new

Has anyone seen MTV's new show Rich Girls? Last night I was home to watch TV for the first time in AGES, and cought this little "gem" of a show. I sat in awe for a full 30 minutes (minus commercials). I cannot believe that these girls' parents are allowing the stuff that unfolds to unfold on national television. Even the adults on the show come off as completely out of touch. I don't even think there's a worry of it corrupting our youth - I think even our youth can see from the way it's edited and presented that this is jut total madness. If anything maybe it will help today's youth recognize some of their behavior as completely worthless.

Before it was even over, I had set up my VCR to catch this every week. I haven't been that entertained in a while.

My mother just used the words "absolutely deliciously moist" in a sentence.

That is all.
