A Whole New World
Thanks to Gabriel, I am now completely moved over to the new, more rubust and more fabulous Moveable Type blog system. Rock ON! You can now leave comments on posts (which could get dangerous), as well as subscribe to be notified when new things are posted.
Last night, Josh Goldowsky yelled @ me for not posting enough to my blog, so [Bill Cosby voice]CHALLENGE[/Bill Cosby voice]!
The Broadway Bombers defeated Baker McKenzie last night, 24-0 (or something like that). The Broadway Bombers are now entering their 7th season. Founded in the Spring of '98 by Josh Goldowsky, Spencer Quinn and myself, the Broadway Bombers was the Broadway management office answer to The Broadway Show League in which, because we worked 9-5, we could not participate. Initially, the team consisted of employees of the Wasser office and TDI. Since the Wasser office manages Les Miserables and The Phantom of the Opera, we got uniforms designed by the folks who did the logos for said shows. Back in the days of cartwheeling dinging and dancing outfielders, our look was all we had. Now we play hard and look fabulous. These days there are about 2 people from the Wasser office left, and TDI is now Broadway.com. Some folks form the Disney office joined us early on and some of them are still hangin' in. Josh and I are the only original members remaining (we miss you Spencer!), with Jen and Jamie coming in a close second. Drew has joined the coaching staff in Spence's absence, and after last night, we're lookin' to kick some ass and take some names this season.
Josh, I hope you enjoyed that Brief History of the Broadway Bombers. That was for you.
Last night I discovered that it's virtually impossible to play softball without drinking beer afterwards. No, really.
